The “white diet”

After the whitening process, it is very important to observe the “white diet” for at least 72 hours. The general rule is: any substance that can stain white clothing, can stain your newly whitened teeth. This includes coffee, tea, red wine, and/or tobacco – to name a few.

If you whiten your teeth at home using overlays, you should abstain from these consumables for the entire therapy period.

Teeth are very sensitive during the procedure and if the ‘white diet” recommendations are not followed, the results of the therapy may be lost.
